Exhibitor Passes
Your exhibitor pass will be available through your on-line account. Exhibitors will receive e-mail notification when passes are ready approximately two weeks before the show. Your ring number(s) will be included as part of your pass and you must print this out and take it with you to the show for use in the ring.

N.B. The Society will not accept electronic passes displayed on mobile telephones as exhibitor passes, therefore you MUST print out your pass and bring it with you on the day of the show in order to gain entry to the showground.
Parking & Entrance Fees
Exhibitors car park pre-paid with entries £5 per car
Exhibitors Car Park on day of show £5 per car

NB: No euros will be taken on the day.

Exhibitors displaying a Disabled Parking Pass MUST attach a photocopy of their official disabled badge to their entry form.
Disabled car parking is NOT free of charge, so please include the appropriate car parking fee. Exhibitors entering online MUST send the photocopy of their official disabled badge to Fosse Data Systems, clearly stating Belfast DSS and quoting their online entry form reference number.
Ring Numbers / Layout
The show is unbenched.
Ring Numbers can be collected from the stewards in the breed ring at the start of judging for your breed.
To assist our stewards in their work please do not request ring numbers for breeds yet to be judged other than for exhibits in stakes classes. Ring numbers for dogs entered only in stakes classes will be available from the appropriate breed ring.
Docked Dogs
Only undocked dogs and to comply with Northern Ireland legislation dogs docked prior to 1st January 2013 are permitted to enter the show.
Unentered Dogs
We regret that we are UNABLE TO PROVIDE A TENT FOR UNENTERED DOGS at the Show.
Dogs in vehicles, remedial action will be taken by show officials in the event of dogs being found in a distressed condition in motor vehicles or caravans.
Photography & Filming
The Show Management would like to bring the regulation on photography and filming to the attention of exhibitors, trade stands, press and visitors.

It is a condition of all those attending the event that no filming or other form of recording may be taken or made at the venue without express written permission of the Belfast Dog Show Society.

The taking of photographs in the show venue for sale or reward is strictly prohibited except with the written permission of the Belfast Dog Show Society, please contact the Secretary (email)

Press accredited photographers are provided with permission to take photographs ONLY for use in newspapers, magazines and internet sites - this is for news purposes only!

There is no objection to the general public taking photographs of general views of the show, provided that these are for private use.

Specific dogs may be photographed only with the approval of the exhibitor. No photography or filming is permitted in breed judging rings whilst judging is actually taking place. However, judges may allow it to happen at the end of classes or after the Challenge Certificate is awarded. Filming and flash photography is allowed from outside the rings at all times unless the operation of the camera is actually affecting exhibits. However, if a powerful flash unit is used or it is clear that exhibits are being affected, a ring steward or the judge is empowered to stop the person concerned.
Refreshments
Catering facilities are available at the venue from 7am, Breakfast to Afternoon Tea - Snack and coffee bars open all day.
Crufts 2022 Qualification
Belfast Dog Show Society has scheduled sufficient classes per breed to meet the Crufts 2022 qualification requirement in listed breeds.

Where to Stay
There is a wide range of accommodation available near the venue, early booking is advisable .

Ferries to Ireland
Belfast Dog Show Society has made provisions for a ferry concession to all exhibitors attending the championship dog show.
To take advantage of these concessions you will need to book online.

Select the FLEXI product to obtain the special rates.
Caravans/Motorhomes
Caravans and Motorhomes can be parked at Balmoral Park at a cost of £25 (€30) for one or two nights.
These passes must be PREPAID with your entry and are available for the Friday and Saturday nights only.
NB: Please note there are limited services available and all parking within the designated are on hardcore.
24 hours security is provided at the show site.
Trade Stands
Join us at Ireland’s largest dog show!
All rings and trade stands are under the one roof of our excellent Eikon Centre venue.
Anyone wishing to avail of Stand Space at our forthcoming Championship show must complete an application form.

Covid Guidance
The Society will ensure to the best of its ability that the event is run to Covid Safe guidelines. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with national and local restrictions including advice given about nonessential travel in and out of locally affected regions (which must not be ignored) – in the interests of the safety of all participants this may give rise to a short notice refusal of entry at the society’s discretion. The Kennel Club will respect the society’s exercise of its discretion. If a competitor, or anyone in their household, has Covid-19 related symptoms or has tested positive for Covid-19 they must isolate in line with Government advice - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/self-isolation-and-treatment/when-to-self-isolateand-what-to-do/
The competitor must not attend the event.

COVID-19 STATEMENT

This show will be held in line with Kennel Club and Government guidelines in place at the time of the show and Belfast Dog Show Society wish to extend our thanks to Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council for their help and support.
Please check the BDSS website where you will find our full risk assessment.
The designated COVID-19 Safety Officers are Mr I. Wilson and Ms C. Reynolds.
By entering the show, you agree to abide by the rules set out below. Anyone not abiding by the rules will be asked to
leave. Entry details will be shared, if requested, as part of Track and Trace.
If an exhibitor, or anyone in their household, has COVID-19 related symptoms or has tested positive for
COVID-19 in the past month, they must NOT attend the show.
Please note:
• Exhibitors who fall into a category regarded as ‘vulnerable’ attend at their own risk.
• Please do not gather around the ring, we will call classes in plenty of time.
• Hand sanitiser will be provided at show
• There will be a separate entrance and exit to the ring.
• Face coverings are to be worn whilst in the ring (unless medical exemption ID shown). The judge will also wear a
face mask whilst judging the dogs.
• The judge will sanitise hands after assessing each dog.
• The handler will show the dog’s teeth to the judge.
• The grooming table will be sanitised after assessing each dog.
• The handling of show stationery such as prize cards, judges books and paperwork will be minimised.
• Please be reminded the Committee have worked hard to be able to put this event on for you. Due to the current
pandemic, the event needs to be heavily managed to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Please follow all
instructions you are given.
ON ENTERING THIS SHOW, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ABIDE BY THE ABOVE CONDITIONS AND DO SO AT
YOUR OWN RISK. ANYONE NOT ABIDING BY THESE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
